Latest TextScout version 1.55 supports two new handsets and French as a menu language.

Nokia Touchscreen models N8 and X6 are now listed as compatible phones. 

Both handsets have a large, bright display and support Wi-Fi. Nokia N8 smartphone provides also high speed upload due to HSUPA and the 12 megapixel camera produces very good text recognition results. Compared to the Nokia X6 the larger N8 doesn’t support the TextScout alignment assistant.

Good news for French speakers! French is now supported as a menu language. You can use French for the menus as well as for reading out the recognition results.
